I was born and raised in China. I majored in law in China and was supposed to become a lawyer. Somehow I knew there was something else for me in this world. I came to USA to get my master’s degree in Advertising and I am currently living in Los Angeles, working as a designer at an interactive agency.

Most of my artwork is vector. I like the clean style.

I don’t really think I have any special skills or technique. But I think to have a unique style definitely helps an artist to stand out.

For me, inspiration comes from everywhere, sometimes just some colors, some images, life experience, or maybe a story. For example, Water Dance comes from my snorkeling experience in Hawaii. Moon Bunny is inspired by a Chinese folk story about a fairy that lives on the moon with her jade rabbit.

6. What is your main purpose and goal in your professional work?
Always push further, learn new things and evolve.

I hope to see more originality in digital art. I think copying can be a good way to start and learn. But to really push digital art forward, we artists should all bring originality and uniqueness to our work.

Passion, determination and hard work.

Live in the moment. Don’t have regrets. Don’t count on tomorrow. Me is NOW.
